Chapter W’s !deas Labs is looking for User Experience Researcher!

You will work in our !deas Lab, where we’ll pilot and experiment new projects and ideas under theme of Women, Technology and Social Impact. For 2018, !deas Lab will focus on an online platform for creatives, with a special attention on women.

We’re looking for someone who likes to observe and find patterns in users’ behaviour, how they interact with online platforms and use the information to make thoughtful, practical recommendations that can improve the online site.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Collect and analyze user-behaviour through an appropriate method
• Provide practical, thoughtful recommendation to improve user experience
• Work closely with our designer to improve the project

Job Requirements

Qualities that we’re looking for:

• Get things done (i.e. you are action-oriented)
• Has a high level of personal and professional integrity
• Has a humility to learn, take feedback positively and show calmness and resilience in the face of challenges
• Able to learn fast, absorb information and figure out how to use such information to meet objectives effectively
• Has effective verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa,
• Should be able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• A solid team player, and treat their colleagues with respect and courtesy

Detailed Requirement: 

•  A university degree in a relevant discipline
• 1+ years work experience, preferably in start-up environment, is a must
• Evidence of strong skills in ethnography and/or design thinking
• A user-centered and detail-oriented mindset to understood online user’s interactions
• Strong sense of empathy, data analysis and problem-solving skill to make practical recommendations of the online platform to the designer
• Solid communication skills, written and verbal in Bahasa, and moderate to good communication skills in English
