Jr. Back End Web Developer

Job requirements

  • Proficiency and experience in PHP and MySQL
  • Proficiency and experience in NodeJS (MEAN stack) is a PLUS
  • Basic understanding of database design
  • Basic or intermediate HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX and JQuery skills
  • Possess good coding practice, able to write well-designed, testable, and efficient codes
  • Willing to learn and ability to understand codes
  • Responsible, efficient and structured with attention to detail
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Graduates from relevant fields of studies may be considered
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with 1 year relevant working experience are welcomed to apply

Responsibilities

  • Developing new and maintaining features in a website / web app.
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Developing Web service for other services to connect.
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools , GIT
