Job Description
We are looking for energetic and motivated Graphic Designer Intern to be involved in a 3-6 months project to help with the company with creating visual solutions for our branding brochures as well as curriculum collaterals as the company continues to expand its portfolio in Singapore and the region. The role requires the intern to be able to understand our needs, combine art and technology to communicate ideas effectively professionally and efficiently through images. Intern should have adequate skills in Adobe Creative programs such as Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator.
You will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia, working in a young and dynamic environment at Blk 71 Jakarta, a star-up co-working space. As a closely knitted team with a humble size, you will be working closely with the executive management and co-founders of the company based in Singapore.

| Description | Explorer Junior was founded in 2013 in the National University of Singapore (NUS) by 3 graduates who share a common interest in early childhood education.
We believe that every child is a curious explorer, unique and special in his / her own way and should be given the tools, opportunity and environment to explore the world at his / her own pace. The mainstream, one-size-fits-all education system that is prevalent is not able to maximize the potential of every unique child. Explorer Junior aims to research, design and develop opportunities – programs, products and apps – to nurture every child’s curiosity & creativity, allowing them to explore their interests & talents and construct their own meaning of the world through experiencing, tinkering, understanding & innovating. There is a strong emphasis in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) learning and Design Thinking. Our programs and products cater mainly to the 3 to 12 years old children. Explorer Junior is supported by the National University of Singapore (NUS Enterprise). The Company has also received a Start-up grant awarded by Enterprise Singapore in 2014. |
