Recently, the International Monetary Fund has included China Yuan as one of its reserve currencies. Besides this, China has also undertaken many other measures to establish its strong presence in the global economy. For instance, China’s Central Bank initiated China International Payment System (CIPS), a global payment system which provides cross-border transactions in Yuan. More and more countries, including Indonesia, are enforcing direct transactions with China using Yuan.

The global presence of China has leveraged the importance of Chinese Language – there is currently over 1 BILLION speakers of Chinese language in the world. Realizing this, Obama announced that he would like 1 Million Americans to learn Chinese by 2020. By this initiation, more and more countries are also expected to encourage the citizens to learn Chinese as a second language in the near future as well. Learning Chinese is now an important choice, but we truly believe that this will be an inevitable choice in the near future. When the time comes, one should be able to speak Chinese in order to survive in the global competition.
