You will be responsible for converting our existing mobile web application into a native Android application. You will also be working together with the team to improve the design and functionality of our mobile app so as to provide even greater value for our users.

Our backend runs on Ruby on Rails, and you will be using the existing APIs within the Android application. Our current frontend runs on backbone.js (deployed to mobile via Trigger.io).

Skills and Requirements

• Fluent in native Android application programming (Java, Kotlin, etc.)
• Experience in building several native Android applications
• Knowledge of test-driven development
• Some experience of server-side programming with Ruby on Rails is a plus
• Ability to communicate well in English
