• Creating design solutions that have a high visual impact
• Developing designs and layouts for a variety of print and digital marketing/communications materials.
• Developing creative concepts to reach target audiences.
• Managing all aspects of the production of printed and visual materials – brochures, pamphlets, posters, infographics, fact sheets, slides, exhibits, promotional items, social media images, etc.
• Proofing work to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Preparing designs and files for print, websites and social media and ensuring web files are compliant with web content accessibility standards.
• Preparing print specifications for projects and coordinating with production vendors to acquire detailed print estimates.

Requirements:

• Considerable knowledge of design, layout and commercial art methods and techniques
• Considerable knowledge of materials and equipment used in commercial art
• Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices used in the reproduction of artwork by photography and duplicating methods
• Experience in using – or a willingness to learn to use – email marketing software such as MailChimp and creating emails using HTML
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
• Solid analytical and communication skills
• Creative mindset
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on project deadlines
• Ability to estimate how much time is required to complete work
• Ability to work independently (Work is reviewed for quality and overall design concepts.)
•  Ability to understand basic web analytics to help the creative team optimize and push out content for target audiences
• An understanding of how to connect with audiences on a variety of social media.
