Job Description GEPI is part of a wider global initiative called the Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEP), which grew from an initiative of President Obama and former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Since then, it has been a core program at the U.S. Department of State with the purpose of promoting entrepreneurship as a key pillar of economic development among developing countries.   • Manage and develop GEPI’s internal and external communication media to increase the GEPI’s brand awareness
  • Respond to requests for information from other media
  • Observe mass media for related information and news
  • Perform necessary actions to give the correct information, as well asrestoring and building GEPI’s image
  • Build media database and relation

You should

  • Be proficient in communication, negotiation, and presentation
  • Be proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbally ◦ Have a proactive attitude
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Have good time-management, communication and organization skill
  • Work on a system with Communication Program Officer to share information and tasks efficiently and effectively

GEPI focuses on early stage startups. Currently, GEPI has two main programs: a training platform called Ciputra GEPI Incubator (CGI), and a funding platform called Angel Investment Network Indonesia (ANGIN).Startups under GEPI get to work with mentors like William Tanuwijaya (CEO – Tokopedia), Achmad Zaky (CEO – Bukalapak.com) and Etienne Emile (Co-founder – Bridestory) and get funded by Angel Investors like Shinta Kamdani (CEO – Sintesa Group), Noni Purnomo (CEO – Blue Bird Group) and Grace Tahir (Diretor – Mayapada Hospital).
